Force Blue aims to help vets who are having trouble assimilating back to society through diving programmes which focuses on the rebuilding of our reefs and oceans.

I was nervous about interviewing Rudy but was also excited. I like many others are aware of his accomplishments as a member of the armed services, as an author, an actor a martial arts and also as a spokesperson for the veteran community.

I was nervous because I knew my questions were going to be about the suicide epidemic, about PTSD and the struggle that veterans are going through. As an interviewer it’s my role and responsibility to treat these subjects with the respect and dignity they deserve. so if I seem a bit off key this is why. It was a great show to record

It takes a special form of mental strength to perform as a member of the armed services. They deserve our time. Our support and understanding, we need to meet them half way. The suicide epidemic is a tragedy and we need to change the way veterans are helped

Please check out forceblueteam.orgcheck out their website and find out how you can help. These courageous and brave soldiers are capable of almost anything, but it seems the hardest challenge is speaking up and asking for help. So please help and support these vets let them know that we care about their welfare.
